MY FICTION WRITING
I often had flashes of inspiration while I was working as a storyteller. However with the volume of people that would sometimes arrive and the impatience many carried, I liked being prepared. So I would write up a skeleton before hand. The intention being to separate them by posts ( the ------ lines are my dividers) with the plan to post them as is should thing go according to plan, then edit it should the players do something.
Afterwards everything would be improvised, but you know what they say about first impressions.
Fragments
Second Life Lore
For one group, I wrote up little descriptors and lore. I called them Cairn Cards, as I love alliteration. I wanted them to have a mildly mythical feel, as they were written to be a part of the fae's homelands.
Storyline Events
As the name implies, my job as a storyteller was to spark up some interesting stories. Below are some of the lore I created for these events. This is also where the Lickyface concept first began to grow and take my fascination. Should I start writing about them, this should not be considered canon to my lore.
Sometimes, when the stars align and a particular crack in the concrete in front of Harrah's is stepped on, one of my ideas or scenes gets turned into a relatively complete story! However normally I dislike them and sacrifice them to the Wendigo that feeds me ideas. These ones escaped.
Short Stories
Below are a collection of my short stories, some of the items I have made for projects in second life, and whatever else I consider a (mostly) self contained piece of fiction that hasn't been eaten by the Wendigo of Writer's Block.
