ABOUT ME

I am a young writer from Reno, NV. I have been through a number of trials in my life already, and it is because of that I gained an appreciation for horror. With the genre's tendency to delve into the darkest pits of our species' history and psychology, you are certain to find a situation you relate to. One that makes you root and panic for the character thanks to you having experienced a similar situation. In horror, you create a horrifying situation. One that you are certain no one could escape from. One that you are certain will chill at least one reader to the core and leave them tossing and turning.

However, what I am now working on perfecting is why I love horror so much but sadly neglected it. It is difficult not to be inspired by characters, both of our own creation and of others, as they pull themselves from the depths of hell. In the most resonating of pieces, you can feel the author, actor, or artist through it. You can feel their struggle, their relief, and their triumph.

It might seem strange to say this about a genre known to keep people awake, but horror helped me through my darkest times. Escaping into the monsters in my rage and into the victims in my empathy.  Venting frustrations I have experienced and beating and molding them until it was a monster that I no longer feared, but one I could be proud of. Even if no one else ever sees it nor sees the depths I do, it is all worth it for how theraputic writing is.

The point of all that is to explain that I do not write for the reader or anyone else. I share it for them, sure, and I do hope it is entertaining to any who read it, but in the end I do this for myself. I do earnestly hope that I can assist others in the way so many horror writers helped me, though.

For that reason I continue to repeat, I will not apologize for any nightmares you may or may not experience from my creations.

My head has been so lost in the clouds that my hair got dyed by a Nebula.
